PLANS PROVISIONS AND CONDITIONS
- All heating equipment is subject to our inspection and approval for acceptance.
- This service plan covers only those parts and services shown or
described herein. Charges will be made for all parts and services.
- This service plan does not include the cost of materials or labor
for repairs, replacement or damages resulting from war, floods,
lightning, earthquakes, storms, fire, smoke, electrical failure or
interruptions, strikes, riots, government regulations, acts of GOD
or from boiler failure, defects in piping or radiation, or domestic
hot water accessories or other causes outside its control.
- This service plan does not cover repairs or replacement of fuel
supply tank, tank lines, or environmental remediation of any kind
resulting from discharge.
- Rich’s Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning will not be
responsible for secondary damages for loss or damage resulting
from delays or failure to render service due to conditions beyond
our control.
- Rich’s Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning shall have the
right to cancel this agreement without any liability when issued
in error or for non-payment.
- The decision at to whether to repair or replace parts rests solely
with the company.
- These plans DO NOT COVER repair or replacement parts for
boilers, heat exchanger, water heaters and other attachments
hearths, retorts, oil & heating piping, duct work, humidifier plates,
moduflow or similar system and zone controls, or items of a
plumbing or water nature.
- Rich’s Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning will not assume
any responsibility and this agreement will be null and void if
equipment is serviced by any other than authorized company
personnel or by any other service company.
- This service agreement is automatically renewed one year from
date of acceptance unless canceled by either party on a thirty
day notice.
- This plan will cease to be in force if oil is purchased from anyone
other than Rich’s Oil Service.
- Service calls due to problems with or improper installations of
secondary heating systems are not covered under this contract.
- Service for the following will be charged at prevailing rates with
a minimum charge: Service calls resulting from switches in the off position, blown fuses, main or emergency switch-off, flooded heating systems, no water in boiler, clogged air filters.
- Rich’s Oil will not be responsible for “run-outs” on an account with an outstanding balance due or under abnormal conditions.
